We are seeking a Senior Channel Marketing Manager to support the growth of Coller Capital’s business across Asia Pacific. This position is designed to build and oversee the firm's marketing strategy, digital marketing, brand management and content for the private wealth and institutional channels.
Key areas of focus include building the Coller brand with global banks, distributors and family offices across Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia. The role will work closely with senior leaders globally, to define the marketing goals and execute plans leveraging internal and external resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Segment the private wealth channels across APAC and develop dedicated marketing plans for each target audience.
- Build the Coller brand within select audiences (National / trade / wealth press) through a focused PR strategy.
- Develop compelling marketing materials to support the Coller fund range.
- Determine appropriate third-party event sponsorship strategy.
- Develop and maintain content for a wide variety of marketing deliverables such as brochures, emails, presentations, whitepapers, websites and events.
- Set specific and measurable marketing goals and share key metrics with relevant stakeholders.
- Integrate data-driven learnings into future marketing projects.
- Develop strong partnerships and work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Investor Relations and Compliance teams.
- Keep abreast of industry and competitor best practices to ensure we remain current and best in class.
- Leverage outside consultants/agencies to complement the in-house team in order to meet demand and deliver on marketing objectives.
Other:
• Work on cross departmental teams and seek out synergies for additional collaboration.
• Support inter-departmental projects and champion their use in the firm.
• Ensure consistent application of firm’s messaging.
• Ensure consistent application of the firm’s visual identity and brand.
• Support IR teams with client onboardings and personalised content.
• Investigate and manage suppliers across the spectrum of the marketing communications mix, to ensure effective and cost-effective delivery.
• Forge close relationships with the Investment team, IR team, Events Team.
• Maintain a unified team dynamic with the global team.
• Support with yearly budget and business planning.
Essential experience:
- Significant years of experience marketing B2B/B2C financial, private equity and alternatives sectors
- Experience and track record working in the wholesale, private wealth channel
- Experience leveraging digital marketing to help scale businesses
- Experience creating marketing plans that address specific segments or contrast local market with other locations or segment
Desirable experience:
- Alternatives / Private Markets exposure
- Formal marketing qualifications
