Head of Investor Servicing & Due Diligence, Private Wealth
Coller Capital’s newly formed Private Wealth Secondaries Solutions (PWSS) group is searching for a Head of Private Wealth Investor Servicing and Diligence, which will be a senior level role to help meet the growing needs of our business. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and goal-focused individual who embraces a collaborative, team-based environment either in London or New York.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Private Wealth servicing and diligence teams across USA, EMEA, and Asia (c. 10 person team).
- Working with product experts and the rest of the Private Wealth business to ensure consist messaging across Private Wealth collateral.
- Overall quality of materials produced by the due diligence and investor servicing sub teams for private wealth related materials including Pitchbooks, DDQs, Manager's reports, RFPs, etc.
- Co-ordinate across the institutional due diligence and investor servicing teams to leverage investor relations capabilities for private wealth products.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Facilitate and project manage key distributor onboarding and account maintenance.
- Oversee direct investors, ensuring subscription, legal and tax documents are in order.
- Oversee relevant service providers to ensure best in class investor experience (transfer agents, custodians, administrators, lawyers etc.)
- Maintain a help desk for resolving investor and financial advisor queries.
- Safeguard investor and advisor demographic information.
- Oversee investor reporting ensuring it is insightful, accurate and delivered on time.
- Contribute creative input to enhance materials, working with the team to improve insights and messaging delivery.
- Drive process improvement for efficient working practices.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the firm.
- Foster a positive, collaborative team culture.
- Monitor industry best practices and contribute innovative ideas to refine the private wealth investor relations program.
- Ensure marketing and investor communications are delivered in compliance with relevant laws and regulatory frameworks.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with strong academic record.
- 10-15 years of operational, investor relations, investor services positions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to train and mentor junior team members.
- Team player with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and complete projects.
- Strong interest in alternative investments and demonstrated financial acumen .
- Interest in the financial markets and the asset management sector in particular.
- Robust technology capabilities (CRM/Salesforce, database, Excel, and PowerPoint experience a plus).
- Detail-oriented, ability to multitask and superb time management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
