We are now looking for a Marketing Manager, EMEA to be based in either London or Zurich.
Key responsibilities:
• To plan and implement the firm’s private wealth and institutional marketing and communications strategies, with a responsibility across EMEA.
• To manage an extensive conference-speaking and sponsorship programme, PR, marketing content and collateral, and the firm’s digital presence.
• To manage technology platforms including, CRM (Salesforce) and email automation tool (Pardot).
• To create opportunities for relationship-building with the firm’s target audiences, helping the investment team to generate private equity deal flow and supporting our investor relations programme.
Digital:
• Launch Coller’s thought leadership and content across EMEA through the marketing mix, with the help of the Senior Digital marketing Manager and our PR agency, and through relationships with associations and conference organisers.
• Manage the distribution of Coller’s content via e-campaign software. Oversee and train team members to ensure widespread knowledge of the system. Manage the integration between this system and the firm’s CRM.
• Use specialist knowledge in the firm’s CRM system to ensure the team is using its capabilities to forge stronger relationships and drive improvement programmes that to build efficient systems.
• Manage webinars, based on Coller’s thought leadership and profiling the Coller team.
Conference programme:
• Manage Coller Capital’s brand and reputation by creating opportunities for visibility through organising speaking engagements and conference sponsorships. Including conference contract planning and negotiations.
• Look for opportunities to leverage relationships with conference organisers, sponsorship vendors and service providers, for the optimum linkage of Coller’s spokespeople and messaging.
• Work closely with the research team to draft briefing documents for the Investment team, to include market themes and company messaging, making use of the firm’s library of existing content.
• Gather and analyse conference feedback reports.
Proprietary Events:
• Research ways to raise Coller’s profile, to help establish new relationships and reinforce existing relationships, including the planning of targeted regional events.
• Develop event strategy, context, and target audiences (using Salesforce).
• Work with the Events team to deliver successful events that are valuable to the Investment Team and Investor Relations. Analyse event feedback reports to inform future targeting and positioning of the event.
PR:
• Help co-ordinate the firm’s regional interaction with the media.
• Interface with the firm’s global PR agency to drive proactive and reactive PR programmes.
Other:
• Work on cross departmental teams and seek out synergies for additional collaboration
• Support inter-departmental projects and champion their use in the firm
• Ensure consistent application of firm’s messaging, visual identity and brand
• Support IR teams with client onboardings and personalised content
• Investigate and manage suppliers across the spectrum of the marketing communications mix, to ensure effective and cost-effective delivery
• Forge close relationships with the Investment team, IR team, Events Team
• Maintain a unified team dynamic with the global team
• Support with yearly budget and business planning
Essential experience
• Strong experience marketing B2B/B2C financial, private equity and alternatives sectors
• Experience and track record working in the wholesale / private wealth channel
• Experience leveraging digital marketing to help scale businesses
• Experience creating marketing plans that address specific segments or contrast local market with other locations or segment
Desirable experience
• Alternatives / Private Markets experience
• Formal marketing qualifications
• European languages
